What is not included in the costs?
All costs are included in the rental price (per month) with the exception of of electricity and gas. This variale cost amounts to 50 euros per month + a final bill. Further costs are the city tax for students that amounts to €100.00 per year.

I’ve rented a room. Can I get the present tenant’s details?
We cannot release any personal information relating to our tenants due to the GDPR law.

I'm already renting a room from Globiss, but 'id like to get a different room next year.
It is possible to move internal. Make sure you sort this out before the open house days.

Do I get my security deposit back at the end of my contract?
Your deposit will be refunded by bank transfer, we can not do this in cash. If power and heating are not included in the rent, we will deduct these charges from your deposit before refunding it to you.

Which size is the bed?
The size of the mattress is 90cm x 200cm.

I’d like to put in a larger desk or bed. Will you take away my old bed?
No. As a tenant, you are responsible for everything in your room. You can put in a different bed if you want, but you have to arrange for the original bed to be removed. And of course you have to make sure that the original furnishings are back in place at the end of the contract.

There’s a car park beside or within the building. Can I park there?
No, these parking places are also rented. If you’re interested in renting one, please ask for further information at our office.

Does Globiss also clean my room?
No. We only clean the communal areas. We therefore look after the entrance, communal kitchens, lounges and any communal bathrooms.

I’ve connected my TV cable, but I’m not getting any picture?
Your room is only equipped with a connection point. You have to apply for your own TV service. You can do this to Telenet. If you make an appointment with them, you should also let us know so that we can open up the basement; please do this at least one day ahead of the appointment.

I have two keys. Is one for the front door and one for the room door?
No. You have two identical keys; both of them work both your room door and the front door. If you have a private bathroom elsewhere in the building, then the keys fit that as well. Also, you can only open your bathroom door with your key.
